Hours: 40 hours/week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hours/day. 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M.
Employer may request but cannot require workers to work on their Sabbath. The nature of farm work may require workers to work after dark and possibly weekends depending on weather conditions. Hours offered may vary based on factors such as weather or other unpredictable variables that impact the farm's operation.

Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties associated with SOC Code 45-2091, Agricultural Equipment Operator. Duties include mixing specified materials or chemicals and loading solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery. Operate and monitor GPS-equipped tractors, combines, sprayers, and drills to produce crops such as potatoes and corn. Observe and listen to equipment operation to detect malfunctions. Adjust, set, activate, and control machinery mechanisms. Perform routine maintenance, adjustments, and minor repairs on farm machinery and report equipment malfunctions to supervisors. Attach farm implements, including plows, discs, sprayers, and harvesters, to tractors using bolts and hand tools. Drive trucks to transport crops, supplies, tools, or workers between fields and storage areas. Irrigate soil and maintain pipes and pumps.
Upon hire, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employer's drug-free and alcohol-free workplace policy, including applicable testing protocols. A positive test result for illegal or controlled substances, or failure to comply with testing requirements, may result in immediate termination of employment.
Work includes exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, frequent stooping or bending over, and repetitive movements.
Minimum Education Required
No High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum Experience Required
Two (2) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed.
Must be able to obtain appropriate driver's license following hire and obtain clean driving record.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to speak and understand English.
Able to perform work that requires exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing or pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping or bending over, and repetitive movements.

Additional Compensation
Employer may, at the company's sole discretion, pay workers at a rate above the minimum required and/or provide additional compensation such as bonuses, fixed salaries, PTO, insurance, incentive pay, or other benefits to any worker employed under this job order based on lawful, non-discriminatory factors including skill, performance, tenure with the employer, licensing, training, punctuality, or prior related experience.
As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

Job Benefits
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
