As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Your presence and professionalism will help create a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergency situations as needed.

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors to help to deter unauthorized entry.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.

Document and report observations, incidents, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, and visitors, providing assistance and information as appropriate.

Support site operations by maintaining awareness of security-related risks specific to the food and beverage environment.

Minimum Requirements:

At least one year of security-related experience is required.

Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Experience with alarm panels is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
