As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver Manufacturing in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a manufacturing and industrial location, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a secure environment. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing site protocols as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to monitor for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access or behaviors.

Observe and report any security-related concerns or incidents encountered during patrols within the manufacturing and industrial location.

Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters and site activities.

Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site policies.

Support emergency preparedness drills and participate in response efforts as directed according to site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
