Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Sewickley, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will handle a variety of accounting tasks and ensure the smooth processing of financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable and receivable, strong data entry skills, and proficiency with QuickBooks.

Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

Manage accounts receivable, including tracking payments and issuing invoices.

Utilize QuickBooks to maintain and update financial records.

Perform data entry tasks to ensure precise documentation of financial information.

Handle invoice processing and verify the accuracy of billing details.

Reconcile financial accounts and resolve discrepancies as needed.

Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Prepare reports and summaries related to financial activities.

Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.

Maintain organized records and documentation for easy retrieval.

Requirements - Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Proficiency in QuickBooks for managing financial tasks.

Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail.

Familiarity with invoice processing and related procedures.

Ability to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.

Effective organizational and communication skills.

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
