Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings - carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
Role Purpose
Ensures systems operate seamlessly, securely, and effectively by providing essential support, training, and expertise to end-users while actively enhancing system usability and data integrity. Through close collaboration with cross-functional teams this position provides subject matter expertise that governs system and process changes to meet global standards and deliver business value. The SC Solutions Enterprise Expert ensures Supply Chain enterprise systems remain aligned with business strategy, operational efficiency, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain expert knowledge of integrated systems to support data flow and troubleshooting.
Lead M&A system integration and expansions at an enterprise level ensuring global processes are enabled across supply chain platforms.
Ensure consistent cross-system interoperability and alignment between ERP and Advanced Supply Chain Systems.
Establish and enforce global cross-functional governance of system configuration and process changes to ensure standards
Document cross-system configurations and troubleshoot using knowledge of interface and structures
Ensure data integrity and timeliness by establishing processes for continuous monitoring and proactive updates to support strategic decision-making.
Monitor system functionality, coordinating testing and resolving performance issues across platforms.
Assist in digital transformation strategy, ensuring adoption of modern supply chain technologies.
Lead enterprise-wide system transformation and drive global best practices for system usage and process efficiency
Provide expert level support across supply chain optimization organization SMEs.
Serve as a strategic advisor for leadership on technology and process evolution.
Collaborate with key leadership stakeholders to ensure supply chain solutions are continuously delivering value globally.

Experiences/Education Required:
Bachelor's in Supply Chain, IT, or related field
Minimum 10 years of experience enabling various Advanced Supply Chain Systems (APS, WMS,etc) and ERP (SAP ECC/S4) or similar
Proven experience leading M&A integrations and global system transformations
Strategic mindset with the ability to influence digital transformation initiatives
Strong leadership and collaboration skills across IT, business, and operations
Demonstrated decision making, influencing, negotiation, and conflict management/problem solving skills and ability to drive results through others
Strong customer focus: able to gather and understand customer requirements and objectives
Capable of prioritizing and executing on multiple priorities
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and solve complex process problems across multiple solutions

The range for this position is $105,674.00 - $145,302.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
