Title: Director - Commercial Finance, CVS

Location: NY/Hudson Yards (Rhode Island as Needed)

Division: Consumer Products Division

Reports to: VP Commercial Finance

In CPD at L'Oréal, our finance professionals partner to drive profitable growth and ensure the integrity of financial planning, reporting & analysis through strategic leadership and proactive collaboration. This specific role as the Director, Commercial Finance for CVS is responsible for leading full P&L management and financial strategy across the division. The role will partner closely with Sales leadership on the planning and analysis of everything from Top Line Sales, Trade fuel, Stock in Trade, Media, Capex and e-Commerce, through Profit for this channel.

Travel required to Rhode Island offices for meetings and/or trainings based on business needs.

Job Responsibilities:

Accountable for all stages of financial controlling and delivering business results:

Co-develop financial sales and investment strategy

Develop and Deliver full CPD Customer P&L Budget

Monitor and analyze historical and forward looking sales and spend performance

Develop and Lead financial negotiation of terms and annual customer Joint Business Plan (JBP)

Implement and improve current financial controls and trade fuel management in adherence with L'Oreal internal group rules and norms

Review current pricing and promotional spend mechanisms

Collaborate with business partners to ensure healthy levels of stock in trade

Develop and implement long term customer-focused and financially responsible Omni Channel strategy with cross functional business partners

Lead management and compliance of trade fuel spend utilizing the management tool (APEX)

Monitor health of balance sheet and manage corrective action as required

Support Sales Customer Team Leads in delivering brand objectives and work across multifunctional support team to effectively deliver customer needs

Qualifications and Experience:

MBA Preferred

7 to 10 years' experience in progressively challenging roles

Financial Statement/P&L Management

People management experience preferred

CPG experience a plus

Skills:

Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, business acumen, leadership skills, oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills

Strong computer skills required; must have expert-level experience with Excel and Word

Financial reporting experience and use of COGNOS, SAP, Hyperion, or similar systems

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment

Must have the ability to interact with all levels of management
