As a Security Officer - Armed Bank Site Patrol in Newark, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents at a prominent financial institution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access.

Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

Report suspicious activities, security-related breaches, and/or hazards to the appropriate personnel.

Carry and maintain control of assigned firearms and equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Assist with access control processes and visitor management as required by site procedures.

Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent is required.

Armed Guard Card or License is required.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
