Job Title: Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Description

This is a part-time position requiring 25 hours of work per week, Monday through Friday. The primary function of the Accounts Payable Clerk is to effectively manage the accounts payable inbox. Responsibilities include triaging and posting invoices, responding to vendor inquiries, and reconciling vendor statements.

Responsibilities

Triage invoices and determine if they are purchase order (PO) or non-purchase order (non-PO).

Post approved invoices in a timely manner.

Reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy.

Respond promptly to vendor inquiries to maintain good relationships.

Monitor the accounts payable inbox for incoming correspondence.

Essential Skills

Accounts payable expertise

Invoice processing proficiency

Data entry skills

Understanding of purchase orders

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office

Experience with three-way matching

1+ years of accounts payable experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma required

Associate's degree in a relevant field preferred

Knowledge of accounting principles and invoicing

Work Environment

This role involves working in an office or cubicle space at the Lima Refinery. The position is part-time, with hours from Monday to Friday totaling 25 hours per week.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Lima, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
