As a Security Officer - Industrial Access Control in Sparrows Point, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible throughout your shift. You will deliver outstanding customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and reliability. Mon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Tue02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.

Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the facility to help to deter unauthorized access.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols of the business premises and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential concerns.

Document and report security-related incidents, unusual observations, and maintenance needs as required by site procedures.

Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
