As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Blythewood, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned manufacturing and industrial locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control, and interact with employees and visitors to provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report observations according to established protocols.

Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, site personnel, and/or visitors as needed.

Assist with site access control and verify credentials as required by site policies.

Document all activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.

At least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience is required.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
