The Louisiana Department of Insurance is seeking a detail-orientedAdministrative Assistant 4to support key functions within the Office of Policy, Innovation, & Research. In this role, you'll work closely with the Deputy Commissioner and OPIR team to ensure office operations, workflows, and communications are well-coordinated, accurately documented, and efficiently executed. Minimum Qualifications
Three years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
As anAdministrative Assistant 4 in the Office of Policy, Innovation, & Research, you will/may:
Manage the Deputy Commissioner's calendar, schedule meetings, coordinate interviews, and arrange travel and reimbursements.
Prepare, proofread, and process sensitive correspondence for internal and external stakeholders.
Serve as the first point of contact for calls, emails, and inquiries directed to OPIR, ensuring accurate routing and timely follow-up.
Draft, edit, and format policy-related documents, reports, memos, and other written materials.
Organize and maintain office records, files, and administrative documentation to support policy development and research initiatives.
Track deadlines for reports, legislative or regulatory actions, project milestones, and time-sensitive administrative activities.
Assist in coordinating office planning efforts, supporting short- and long-term goals and division-wide initiatives.
Sort and review incoming mail, identifying items requiring priority attention.
Maintain payroll and timekeeping functions for the division, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Prepare meeting materials, agendas, summaries, and support logistical setups for internal and external meetings.
Support special projects and assignments initiated by the Deputy Commissioner or OPIR leadership.
