Bilingual Medical Assistant

Description

Assists providers in performing office procedures and duties related to patient care and patient documentation

Assess the patient flow by identifying those areas or problems that are causing interruptions and resolves at point of check in/registration

Performs basic Medical Assistant functions

Acquire, update, and review for accuracy patient records and documents

Transcribes patient family history and any forms as needed

Reviews each patient orders for completeness and cancels any order not done prior to patient check out

Consistently rectifies patient inaccuracies and calls them to the Practice Manager attention

Reviews each patient referral and laboratory results for patients

Obtains patients waivers and consents at registration, using electronic medical record

Prepares examination rooms immediately after patient's visits

Maintains rooms stocked with supplies and disinfected daily

Assures the patient is checked out and has been provided the Patient Summary Plan

Reviews the Patient Summary Plan to assure the patient clearly understands

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
