Our client, a leading personal care/cosmetics manufacturer, is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team in the Cook County, IL area!

Location: Cook County, IL
Pay: $38- $45/ hr (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 3:00 PM - 2:00 AM (4x10 schedule), no weekends and limited OT
Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician supports manufacturing operations by performing preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance to ensure all equipment operates efficiently and safely. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems within a clean, climate-controlled environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues efficiently
Work with the Maintenance Planner and MRO Buyer to ensure parts and tools are available
Maintain accurate maintenance records within the CMMS system
Adhere to safety protocols and support continuous improvement initiatives
Experience with the following equipment is preferred:
Experience with fillers, cappers, conveyors, bundlers, coders, labelers, and box-making equipment
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
1-3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
1-3 years using a CMMS system for maintenance tracking
General mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
Basic computer skills (MS Office, CMMS, etc.)
Electrical or Industrial Maintenance certifications preferred but not required
