Description

We are looking for a talented and dynamic Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Melbourne, Florida. This is a long-term contract position that offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle high-volume tasks with accuracy.

Responsibilities:

Process a large volume of invoices efficiently and ensure accurate coding.

Conduct regular check runs to maintain timely payments to vendors.

Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to problem invoices.

Respond promptly to vendor inquiries and maintain clear and effective communication.

Perform account reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurate and up to date.

Handle filing and organization of financial documentation for easy access.

Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage accounts payable workflows.

Enter data accurately into systems to maintain precise financial records.

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and adherence to deadlines.

Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable within a high-volume environment.

Proficiency in financial software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.

Strong skills in invoice processing, coding, and data entry.

Ability to perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Familiarity with check runs and vendor communication best practices.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.

Ability to work onsite in Melbourne, Florida.
