As a Security Officer - Warehouse Access Control in Phoenix, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entrances, check badges, and help to deter unauthorized access while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence supports a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. By remaining visible and conducting routine patrols, you promote a welcoming and secure atmosphere, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor movement of people and vehicles within the location to help to deter potential security-related concerns.

Report and document security-related incidents and/or suspicious activity as required by site procedures.

Assist with emergency response activities as directed and support Allied Universal and client staff as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

A guard card or license is preferred.

Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
