As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol the assigned shelter location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. This role requires both an armed guard card and a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for patrolling the premises and responding promptly to situations as they arise. Your commitment to customer service and teamwork will help create a positive experience for everyone onsite.

Position Type: Part Time

Must pass a Physical Fitness Exam prior to getting hired (1 mile run-12 minutes, 22 sit ups and 12 push ups)

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the location and its occupants.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.

Monitor for unusual activity and report observations according to Allied Universal protocols.

Assist visitors, staff, and/or residents with inquiries and directions as appropriate to maintain a welcoming environment.

Collaborate with local authorities and Allied Universal management as required during incidents or emergencies.

Document and log all incidents, observations, and activities during assigned shifts in accordance with company guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

An armed guard card or license is required.

Must have at least 3 years of either Military, Law Enforcement or Armed security experience.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Customer service experience is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
