About the position
The Sales Development Intern identifies and qualifies new leads to generate potential sales opportunities.
Applicants must be permanently authorized to work in the US.
Responsibilities
Working with their manager or a Sales Development Representative to complete assigned tasks.
Attending meetings and events to observe and learn.
Updating sales records and documents accurately.
Observing how to source sales opportunities leveraging tools and education provided.
Communicating with vendors and clients at the manager's request.
Conducting research and collating data.
Assessing whether sales targets are met.
Identifying potential weaknesses and offering improvement suggestions.
Taking notes on what they learn while on the job.
Skills and Qualification
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or bachelor's degree in progress.
Experience in sales, customer service, or a related role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to conduct research and identify potential leads.
Ability to navigate fast-paced environments with strong time management skills.
Capability to handle initial sales inquiries and follow up on leads.
Adaptability to learn new sales techniques and tools.
Compensation
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
