Job Description

Ensures the execution of overhead/underground construction duties including: placing hard-line connectivity platforms, frame and strand poles, etc.

Investigates and monitors accurate record keeping concerning project start milestone dates, production logs, material costs, and labor expenditures.

Supports specialists and leadership team with coordination of projects.

Reviews and follows up with customer requests and complaints.

Conducts site surveys and coordinates daily activities of business support, technical, or production staff.

Sets priorities for the team - assigns tasks and checks work at regular intervals.

Updates the JT or Polaris entry job docs/maps QC for path verification.

Primary contractor interface day-to-day in the field and in turn acts as the NGAN liaison with the Regional network Technicians.

New or upgraded power supply in place and operational in continuity prior to cut date.

Overall responsibility of the quality of the NGAN product: from the contractor building and to the Operations we hand off to.

It is expected that this role is in the field 75% of the time.

Requirements:

3-5 years of OSP, Fiber, and Coax construction experience

Knowledge of: pole distance, pole surveys, multi-dwelling units

Experience coordinating/supervising teams.

Ability to travel for site visits and surveys 75% of the week - must have own vehicle (mileage can be expensed)

This is a Contract position based out of Berlin, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
