As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Front Desk in Torrance, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will be the first point of contact, providing a welcoming presence while monitoring access and assisting visitors and employees. You will help to deter security-related incidents, respond to inquiries, and deliver outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a manufacturing and industrial location.

Monitor access points and verify identification of employees, contractors, and/or visitors entering the facility.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk.

Assist with emergency response activities as required, coordinating with Allied Universal management and local authorities as appropriate.

Support a welcoming environment while helping to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited activities within the facility.

Communicate professionally with clients, employees, and/or visitors to address inquiries and provide information about building policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

At least one year of security-related experience is required.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
