Job Title: Industrial EngineerJob Description

We are seeking an Industrial Engineer to analyze production workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction. The candidate will design and implement lean manufacturing initiatives, develop time studies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

Analyze production workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.

Design and implement lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S and value stream mapping.

Develop time studies, work measurement systems, and labor standards to improve productivity.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain) to resolve bottlenecks and improve throughput.

Evaluate and optimize plant layout, material flow, and workstation ergonomics.

Support new product introductions by designing efficient manufacturing processes and tooling requirements.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to guide decision-making.

Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts for production inefficiencies.

Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all engineering activities.

Train and mentor production staff on process improvements and best practices.

Manage engineering support for serial production lines, ensuring consistent quality and output.

Oversee process control and optimization for finished goods assembly, packaging, and delivery readiness.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in CAD software, simulation tools, and data analysis platforms (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Minitab).

Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in metal fabrication and assembly lines.

Degree in Industrial Engineering.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Manufacturing engineering experience.

Experience with process engineering and time studies.

Work Environment

The role involves being on the production floor for the majority of the time. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, offering significant opportunities for growth as the company is rapidly expanding and revamping its product line.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brillion, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
