Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

As an assembler, you will perform duties in accordance with the current Quality Management System and Safety Management System requirements. You will be responsible for assembling sub-assemblies, installing accessory components and materials, and wiring basic electrical connections per applicable diagrams. This role requires you to inspect products to ensure they meet quality, engineering, and customer standards.

Responsibilities

Assemble sub-assemblies and install accessory components and materials.

Wire basic electrical connections according to applicable diagrams.

Inspect products to ensure they conform to quality, engineering, and customer requirements.

Operate hand tools including electrical and pneumatic power tools.

Load, unload, lift, and move materials and products utilizing lifting equipment when available.

Read and interpret job orders, diagrams, and/or blueprints to select and position material and accessory components.

Complete and maintain all associated electronic paperwork including checklists, stamping, blueprints, bar coding, and shipping materials.

Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.

Complete additional tasks or projects as needed by the department.

Essential Skills

Experience with hand and power tools.

Ability to read a measuring tape.

Ability to read blueprints is a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in assembly and mechanical production.

Familiarity with general labor tasks.

Work Environment

The role is based in a manufacturing environment with a 1st shift schedule from 5:00 am to 1:45 pm, including a 45-minute lunch break. The dress code requires full-length pants made of sturdy material, and steel-toed boots are necessary but not provided. Safety glasses, ear plugs, and safety sleeves are provided to ensure a safe working environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Dimas, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
