Adecco is recruiting for a Warehouse Associate for a client in Liverpool, NY. This position is temp-to-hire, paying $18/hour.

Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate will support daily shipping, receiving, and material-handling functions. This role ensures freight flows accurately and on time while maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders

Read and follow customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions

Move, gather, distribute, and/or prepare items for shipment

Maintain a clean, safe, and accessible warehouse environment

Follow all safety procedures and work in a safe, compliant manner

Assemble products as needed and support periodic inventory counts

Take check calls from drivers, verify delivery status, and validate load data for accounting

Monitor daily pickups and deliveries to ensure on-time and damage-free arrivals

Qualifications

Basic written and verbal communication skills

Basic computer skills

Ability to work various shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends) based on freight volume

Previous dock or warehouse experience (preferred)

Experience loading/unloading trailers (preferred)

Experience using handheld scanners (preferred)

Strong critical-thinking skills with the ability to follow written, verbal, or diagrammed instructions

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs

Ability to safely load and unload trucks

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
