We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Program Assistant to join our team in Walnut Creek, California. The Program Assistant will provide support for all programs by enforcing policies and assisting with implementation of the programs. This role will work collaboratively with Senior Programs Associate, Programs Associates, and State Chairs. The focus will be on providing support to all stakeholders throughout the year.

Responsibilities:

Knowledgeable on all company Programs Policies and Procedures

Provide phone support to teachers, parents and students

Provide customer support in Zendesk, as well as email communication

Provide back up to Administrative Assistant with materials sales

Create technical documents and support tools, data entry

Assist with certificate organization and distribution

Assist with the facilitation of in person and online Certificate of Merit testing

Review all program materials for Convention in hardcopy and digital forms

Assist with membership renewals customer service (seasonally)

Assist with Membership Department's archiving project

Requirements:

Accurate Data Entry, able to multi task, and good time management.

Travel to Certificate of Merit and other Program testing locations

Travel to the annual Convention every year on or around Fourth of July

Overtime required during the Convention Week

Overtime required on weekends during the months of January, February and March

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

BA in English, Business or related field a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Zendesk, Slack, and Google Docs

Experience with databases

PREFERRED SKILLS

Time management skills

Experience with Project Management software

Able to work collaboratively and independently

Requirements - Ability to travel to program testing locations and annual conventions.

Willingness to work overtime during convention week and peak months of January, February, and March.

Bachelor's degree in English, Business, or a related field is preferred.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Zendesk, Slack, and Google Docs.

Experience with databases and project management software.

Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask effectively.
