Biomed Technician I - HTM Biomed

Work location:** Texas Health Arlington Memorial 800 West Randol Mill Road Arlington, TX 76012

Work hours: Full Time Days Monday through Friday (7:30am-4:00pm) for 40 hrs/week.

Here's What You Need

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent (Required) And Associate's Degree Associates of applied science, information technology management, or related field. 2 Years Relevant work experience in lieu of a degree. (Required) Or Successful completion of military BMET training. (Required) No experience required with an Associate's degree or BMET. (Preferred) Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Upon Hire (Required) And Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET), Certified Laboratory Equipment Specialist (CLES), or Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist (CRES). Upon Hire (Preferred) Other Specialized formal training certificate Upon Hire (Preferred)

What You Will Do

Perform performance assurance (PA) inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections (ESI), and operation verification procedures (OVP) on general biomedical equipment Repair, install, and calibrate general biomedical equipment Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the equipment database to include the inventory, performance assurance (PA) schedules, nomenclature, and service history Build and maintain customer relationships Perform periodic inspections of current inventory status Verify the completion of security analysis for new customer equipment Perform Incoming Inspections (II) to maintain a complete and accurate inventory of medical devices, including trial and evaluation, rental, and loaner equipment in addition to permanently assigned equipment inventory
