As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Access Control in WEST POINT, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. You will remain visible throughout your shift, assist with access control measures, and support a welcoming environment for all. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the manufacturing and industrial location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors as part of access control duties.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.

Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and any irregularities according to Allied Universal procedures.

Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related threats and provide reassurance to personnel at the location.

Assist with enforcing site-specific rules and regulations as required by the client and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
