As a Security Guard - Industrial Access Control Full-Time in Phillipsburg, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and maintain a visible presence while providing outstanding customer service. Your role is essential in fostering a secure environment through teamwork, communication, and a people-first approach, where reliability and integrity are valued every day.

Pay Rate: $20.05 / Hour

Mon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Tue02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Wed02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Thur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.

Monitor access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain an orderly flow of personnel and/or visitors within the manufacturing and industrial location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions as required by site policy.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any irregularities.

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to provide information and assistance as needed.

Report any observed irregularities, incidents, or suspicious activities in accordance with site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
