Oracle's Government, Defense & Intelligence team seeks a dynamic SaaS Sales Manager to accelerate growth and innovation, shaping the future of SaaS and enterprise technology for the U.S. Department of War and other strategic defense customers. In this role, you will drive revenue growth, provide strategic leadership, strengthen federal customer engagement, and ensure seamless execution across all aspects of the business.
This is a hybrid position that involves 3 days a week in-office work and/or meetings at the client site. Candidates must be based in the greater Washington, DC area.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets for Oracle SaaS solutions within the DOW sector, identifying key opportunities and aligning offerings with agency priorities.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 8 direct reports, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, while driving account growth, and navigating complex government sales cycles.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain trusted relationships with DOW decision-makers, contracting officers, and technical evaluators to understand their mission requirements and challenges.
Solution Positioning: Collaborate with presales engineers and product teams to tailor Oracle SaaS offerings to DOW-specific needs, emphasizing security, compliance, and performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, legal, and delivery teams to develop proposals, respond to RFPs/RFIs, and ensure seamless transition from sale to implementation.
Industry Expertise: Stay informed on DOW trends, budgets, and IT modernization initiatives to proactively address emerging needs and competitive landscapes.
Qualifications/ Experience
5+ years of technology sales management experience, with a focus on SaaS or enterprise software.
3+ years of experience working with U.S. federal government clients, preferably within the DOW or related defense sectors.
Demonstrated ability to successfully lead, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams in complex, regulated environments while meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Proven experience managing and mentoring sales teams to achieve and surpass quotas within highly regulated and dynamic markets.
Strong track record of building, empowering, and leading sales teams to consistently deliver or exceed sales goals in complex, compliance-driven settings.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred.
Skills & Knowledge:
Deep understanding of DOW procurement processes, contract vehicles (e.g., GSA schedules, IDIQs), and compliance requirements.
Familiarity with SaaS technologies and architectures, ideally with Oracle SaaS or similar platforms.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills tailored to government audiences.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required (e.g., Secret or Top Secret).
Personal Attributes: Strategic thinker, results-driven, adaptable to changing priorities, and comfortable navigating complex organizational structures.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $122,200 to $270,800 per annum. May be eligible for equity and compensation deferral. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 45/55.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
