Description We are looking for a skilled Project Accountant to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This is a contract position with the potential for long-term employment, offering an excellent opportunity for career growth and future advancement. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing project finances, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, and collaborating with project managers to achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

Oversee financial aspects of construction and municipality projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Collaborate with project managers and team members to address financial needs and resolve discrepancies.

Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Utilize accounting software such as Deltek Vision and Excel to create reports and perform data analysis.

Prepare detailed financial reports, including pivot tables, to support project requirements.

Ensure timely and accurate invoicing for projects across multiple regions.

Maintain communication with stakeholders to provide updates and address financial concerns.

Perform regular audits and reconciliations to verify data integrity.

Support career advancement initiatives and contribute to team development.

Assist in testing and improving processes related to accounting and project management. Requirements - Proven experience in project accounting, preferably within construction or municipality industries.

Proficiency in Deltek Vision software and advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables.

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills to interact professionally with various stakeholders.

Familiarity with financial reporting and reconciliation processes.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in work.

Experience working remotely with distributed teams.

Knowledge of accounting standards and practices relevant to construction projects.
