You will be an Industrial Electrician at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC).?Our fast paced, innovative environment needs skilled electricians to keep plant power systems running safely and efficiently.?You'll work on medium and low voltage electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance that support both new builds and existing facilities.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Industrial Electrician you will apply your commercial/industrial electrical expertise to install, service, and troubleshoot a wide range of plant equipment while ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA standards.?You'll partner with maintenance planners, engineers, and safety personnel to keep power reliable for production, testing, and support operations.
Your responsibilities will include
Install, repair, and maintain medium and low voltage power distribution, motor control centers, generators, transformers, ATS units, lighting controls, and related equipment.
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and work orders to execute accurate installations and modifications.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, pumps, cranes, hoists, dock equipment, compactors, fire suppression sensors, solenoids, switches, starters, relays, and other plant assets.
Troubleshoot electrical faults, perform root cause analysis, and execute repairs while observing NEC/NFPA compliance and hot work permits.
Calculate load requirements, voltage drops, and motor winding adjustments using strong math skills and electrical formulas.
Conduct testing and verification of repaired systems, documenting results in maintenance tracking systems.
Coordinate with the Facility Services team to prioritize work requests, schedule outages, and communicate status to stakeholders.
Follow all safety procedures, wear appropriate PPE, and work safely with live voltages up to 600?V.
Provide coverage on 1st or 2nd shift as needed under the Lockheed?Martin UAW collective bargaining agreement.

Basic Qualifications:
5 years practical electrical (commercial/industrial) experience.
Must have the ability to read and work from blue
prints.
Prior experience performing maintenance operations such as repairing and maintaining all electrical systems while maintaining NEC (National Electrical Code) and NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) compliance.
Strong math skills are required, as it will be needed to take measurements and work with electrical formulas.
Experience making changes to motor windings for directional, speed and voltage drops and load requirements.
Must be able to work with live voltages (up to 600 volts) with proper PPE in accordance with hot work permits.
Must have the ability to work 1st or 2nd
shift in accordance with the collective bargaining
agreement.
Desired Skills:
Must have the ability to troubleshoot and make repairs (i.e.: generators, motors, transformers, energy management system lighting controls, ATS, motor control centers, food service equipment, cranes, hoists, dock equipment, compactors, pumps, electric doors, smog units, detectors, sensors, solenoids, switches, starters,
relays, etc.), working from service requests,
engineering drawings or work orders.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
