Monroe County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) is seeking a professional full-time Aging Care Manager 3 to help us make a positive impact on the lives of seniors in our community. The Aging Care Manager 3 will receive, review and confirm categories on reports of need and investigate according to the regulations of the Older Adults Protective Services Act. This position completes investigations within the appropriate time frame, develops a care plan and goals based on need and completes all necessary assessments and required documents. You will have the opportunity to provide community education and outreach to local facilities, agencies or groups on protective services and mandatory reporting requirements.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Travel, overtime and after hours may be required. Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Aging Care Manager 2 or Aging Program Assessor; or One and one-half years of professional human services, law enforcement, or nursing experience; and a bachelor's degree in social sciences, behavioral sciences, human services, or a closely related field; or An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes six months of professional human services, law enforcement, or nursing experience.

Legal Requirements: This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance. This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law. Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
