Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Description

The Warehouse Associate will be involved in all aspects of shipping and receiving freight. This role includes loading and packaging products, prepping them for shipment, and loading them onto trucks. Additionally, the Warehouse Associate will work with SAP software to track and maintain inventory. Interaction with truck drivers is frequent, requiring customer service skills and a professional demeanor. This is a fast-paced environment where lifting up to 60 lbs may be required occasionally, although the work is not considered intensive labor.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of shipping and receiving freight.

Load and package products for shipment.

Prepare products for shipment and load them onto trucks.

Use SAP software for inventory tracking and management.

Collaborate with truck drivers, maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.

Occasionally lift up to 60 lbs during the shift.

Essential Skills

Forklift operation and prior certification.

Experience with shipping, receiving, and packaging.

Proficiency with SAP software and ERP systems.

Material handling skills.

Experience with RF scanners and pallet jacks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience working with chemicals is a plus.

Detailed-oriented and careful work approach.

Improvement mindset and team-oriented.

Work Environment

Work in a small, heated warehouse facility with a team of five in the shipping department. Note that the warehouse can get cold during the winter when shipping doors are open.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stow, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
