Part-Time Administrative Assistant

TITLE:Administrative Assistant

SUMMARY

Centerline Architects & Planners is an award-winning architectural firm with offices located in Bennington and Burlington, Vermont. Since 1989 they have provided a full range of planning and architectural design services to a variety of clients. Centerline Architects has an opportunity for a part-time Administrative Assistant to join their team and work in the Bennington Office.

WORK HOURS

20 hours a week, Monday Friday from 12:30 PM 4:30 PM

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support staff in assigned project-based work

Create and modify various documents including contracts, meeting notes, project documents using multiple programs including the Microsoft Office Suites, Google Docs and the Adobe Creative Cloud Use the various Adobe Creative Cloud programs to assist with marketing, advertising, and proposals Answer telephones and greet clients and visitors

Perform general clericalduties including but not limited to: scheduling, printing, photocopying, scanning, binding, mailing, filing Maintain office cleanliness, order, and organization

Provide out-of-office errands as required

Maintain supply, research, price and purchase office supplies, and client purchases Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS and SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Associates degree in a related field and at least one to three years of relevant experience required An enthusiastic individual that is a self-starter, highly motivated, deadline oriented with strong attention to detail and capable of working independently as well as with others Strong organizational and project management skills, and exceptional oral and written communication skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs and Adobe Creative Cloud Capable of developing new processes and workflows, and improve upon existing ones Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-task oriented, deadline driven, office environment Must be able to lift and carry items up to 40 lbs.

There may be occasional need for off-premises attendance of meetings and training, which generally will also be in an office environment, but maybe in an outdoor setting in an uncontrolled outdoor environment The office is climate-controlled with low to moderate noise levels

Must be able to occasionally travel by automobile, either for local errands or for longer distances to outside meetings or training or for delivery of business documents to clients
