Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this long-term contract role, you will oversee critical financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the organization's financial health and mentor upcoming talent.

Responsibilities:

Lead month-end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Oversee the general ledger and maintain its integrity through regular reviews.

Conduct and manage financial statement audits to ensure compliance.

Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

Prepare and analyze journal entries to support financial operations.

Assist with forecasting and budgeting to guide financial planning.

Utilize NetSuite to streamline accounting functions and improve efficiency.

Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure optimal financial performance.

Develop and document standard operating procedures to enhance workflow.

Train and mentor new accounting managers to support organizational growth. Requirements - Proven experience in month-end close processes and general ledger management.

Strong knowledge of financial statement audits and account reconciliation.

Proficiency in preparing journal entries and analyzing financial data.

Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Familiarity with NetSuite and other accounting software.

Demonstrated ability to manage cash flow effectively.

Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Strong communication and leadership abilities to mentor and train others.
