Marsh McLennan's more than 85,000 employees advise clients in over 130 countries.The Governance & Operations Manager - Business Resiliency will assist in driving standards from a compliance and quality standpoint, create performance and delivery metrics for the Business Resiliency Management team, as well as assist with the deployment of new tools, systems, and training programs. As part of the Global Program Operations and Quality Assurance team, this individual will put their understanding of business resiliency, risk management, project management and process improvement in practice. This person can expect to interface regularly with business resiliency management senior leadership and partner on a variety of projects and initiatives.This role reports to the Business Resiliency Program Operations and Quality Assurance Director. Additionally, there is a requirement to work from our NYC office at least three days per week.We will count on you to:Assist in supporting and maintaining a strong business resiliency, preparedness and response environment across Marsh McLennan as part of the global Business Resiliency Management programParticipate in the development, implementation and maintenance of business resiliency policies, procedures and governance documentationSupport regional Business Resiliency teams in planning, maintaining and implementing the Marsh McLennan's global Business Resiliency Management programProject manage global Business Resiliency Management program activitiesSupport the development, implementation and deployment of tools and processes for Marsh McLennan's global Business Resiliency Management programSupport the development and regular maintenance of the Business Resiliency Management training and awareness programSupport Marsh McLennan's third-party business continuity risk assessment programSupport KPI and KRI development and reporting, including design of dashboardsSupports governance, project management, and quality management activities of Marsh McLennan's global Business Resiliency Management programEngage in inter-operating company projects, both inter-regional and cross-functional.What you need to have: A Bachelor's DegreeA minimum of 7 years of experience in Risk Management, Business Continuity Planning, Compliance, Audit, Operations, Quality Control, Process Improvement, or a related fieldUnderstanding of Business Continuity and Business Resiliency Management ProgramsWhat makes you stand out:Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to analyze and create performance metrics and reportingHigh proficiency in MS Office suite, including PowerPoint, Excel and WordExcellent communications skills with proven ability to drive initiatives to successful outcomesProficiency with data analysis or analyticsExperience with implementation and deployment of tools and systems to operationalize new processes and capabilitiesExperience developing centralized training materials and programsDetail-oriented with a strong commitment to compliance, quality standards, and continuous improvementExperience with process redesign, improvement and change managementWorking knowledge of AIExperience with Fusion, or other GRC platforms, and emergency notification tools a plus.PMP certification a plusBusiness continuity certification (CBCP, MBCI) or equivalent is a plus.Why join our team:We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work, and supportive leaders.We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients, and communities.Our scale enables us to provide a range of career
