Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our team in Miramar, Florida. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to manage and analyze high-volume accounts receivable data within the transport industry. The ideal candidate will excel in resolving discrepancies, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring accuracy in financial records.

Responsibilities:

Review and analyze large volumes of accounts receivable data to identify payment discrepancies and variances.

Classify discrepancies based on their nature, such as quantity, pricing, or unapplied payments.

Collaborate with internal departments and customers to address outstanding issues and ensure timely collections.

Record adjustments and follow-up activities accurately in financial systems.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while managing accounts receivable processes.

Utilize advanced Excel functions, such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP, to reconcile data and support reporting.

Partner with external clients, including large retail chains, to address payment-related challenges.

Assist in the implementation and optimization of systems like SAP and Oracle to enhance efficiency.

Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and collection activities.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend actionable solutions. Requirements - Proficiency in accounts receivable processes, including collections and cash applications.

Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

Previous experience working with high-volume accounts receivable, especially in big-box retail environments.

Ability to work independently and manage tasks under tight deadlines with exceptional attention to detail.

Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.

Effective communication skills to liaise with customers and internal teams.

Critical thinking abilities to identify and resolve complex account discrepancies.

Knowledge of billing functions and cash activity reconciliation.
