Description

We are looking for a meticulous and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Asheville, North Carolina. In this role, you will handle invoice coding and data entry tasks, ensuring accurate categorization of receipts based on provided guidelines. This position offers a collaborative work environment and could be a Part Time or Full Time position.

Responsibilities:

Accurately code invoices and categorize receipts based on predefined criteria.

Perform high-volume data entry tasks with precision and efficiency.

Collaborate with team members in an office setting to ensure smooth workflow.

Maintain consistency while performing repetitive project-related tasks.

Utilize designated software systems for data entry and invoice processing.

Verify the accuracy of entered data and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Adhere to established procedures and guidelines for data handling.

Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure clarity on tasks and priorities.

Support team operations by meeting deadlines and maintaining productivity.

Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and adapt to tools efficiently.

Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry or a related role.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling data.

Proficiency in numeric and computer-based data entry tasks.

Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining focus and precision.

Familiarity with data entry software tools, with willingness to learn new systems.

Excellent typing skills with a high level of speed and accuracy.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities in a team environment.

Commitment to meeting deadlines and adhering to project schedules.
