As a Security Officer - Armed Hotel Patrol in Locust Grove, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. This position includes armed and driving responsibilities as you maintain a professional presence throughout the property. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, applying site protocols and Allied Universal standards.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises, including both the interior and perimeter areas of the hotel or resort property.

Help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access by maintaining a visible presence and monitoring for unusual activity during patrols.

Complete detailed and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and/or activities as required by site protocols.

Work collaboratively with hotel or resort staff and guests to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.

Follow all company protocols regarding the handling and carrying of firearms, maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and Allied Universal policies.

Participate in ongoing training and/or briefings related to security-related procedures and emergency response specific to the hotel or resort environment.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

A guard card or license is preferred.

An armed guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
