Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated production team members to join our facility in East Moline, IL. The production associate will play a critical role in completing various tasks and projects throughout the warehouse, particularly in departments such as coiling, receiving, and shipping. A key responsibility is preparing copper tubing and pipes for shipment to major retailers. This includes ensuring the wire is covered with protective tubing and securely boxed for safe shipping.

Responsibilities

Move pipes to designated pick locations.

Pull and fulfill customer orders.

Label and barcode pipes accurately.

Bundle and wrap pipes for protection.

Cut pipes according to specifications and complete cut sheets.

Identify and segregate scrap materials.

Prepare products for shipment by wrapping them properly.

Unload incoming trucks when necessary.

Load outbound shipments efficiently.

Essential Skills

Experience in production and general labor.

Proficiency with hand tools and machine operation.

Ability to handle inventory, loading, and unloading tasks.

Familiarity with shipping, receiving, assembly, and labeling processes.

Enjoy a stable work schedule with first shift hours from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday. This position offers an opportunity to grow within the company, even with minimal experience in a warehouse setting. After training and cross-training, you become eligible for production incentives, earning an additional $2.00/hour for Tier 1 and $3.00/hour for Tier 2.

Work Environment

The work environment is non-climate controlled, which means it can be hot during summer and cold in the winter months. The noise level ranges from quiet to moderate and can be loud based on department activities and tool usage.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Moline, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
