MAIN FUNCTION: This individual will report to the Regional Director of Supply Chain Flavors NA; this is a management level position which is part of the supply chain team and will support site operations. The position, acting as part of the team, will have accountability and oversight of production planning, warehousing, and inventory management.
Primary focus will be the facilitation and prioritization of all commercial demand executed through the Vineland facility. This individual will manage the team responsible for the coordination and scheduling of all ingredients, intermediates, and sold products. This role will take a leadership role in addressing of any challenges related to meeting customer order expectations. The position will work cross functionally with all Commercial, CD&D and R&D teams to ensure the value chain executes orders with the highest level of support and focus.
The position is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well maintain that all customer requirements are met through efficient, cost-effective supply chain execution. As a senior member of the supply chain team, this individual requires a broad functional understanding of our processes, systems, and production capabilities. This role must use an elevated level of strategic thought to make the best businesses decisions possible in a constantly evolving industry.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK PERFORMED:
Builds & maintains a strong working knowledge of manufacturing capabilities and supply chain processes.
Leads cross functional teams and acts as a principal representative of the supply chain team.
Leads site S&OP cycles
Utilizes all credible sales information along with a deep understanding of the commercial goals of the organization to prioritize orders and facilitate all customer order expedites and delays for his or her respective departments.
Champions initiatives to create efficiencies in the production schedule and alleviate capacity challenges.
Provides clear EHS leadership across the warehouse network and the end-to-end supply chain processes.
Develop, maintain, and evolve material flow through our warehouse operations
Leads & manages all activities team performance, receiving & shipping of goods & ensuring efficient & organized storage
Maintain a robust understanding of the raw materials portfolio and how they are utilized in production.
Acts as a key resource for training and development of team members and new employees
Understand testing requirements (customer and internal) and their impact on the production schedule.
Proficient understanding of MRP and item attributes to build the production schedule
Monitor production through all responsible departments and react, as necessary.
Facilitate communication of all production scheduling related customer delays
Proficient understanding all information systems and process connected to the supply chain value chain.
Attends internal training sessions to learn basic supply chain and system related skills.
Review & escalates all necessary raw material shortages.
Respond to all expedite requests in a timely manner and communicate customer order delay detail clearly and quickly.
Works proactively to avoid challenges.
Approach changing, challenging situations with focus on customer order fulfillment and ADM's best interest.
Develops a clear understanding and working knowledge of ADM information technology systems.
Understands and has strict adherence to corporate compliance policies & safety systems & programs.
Ensures that individual goals are aligned with company goals.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Four-year university degree in supply chain or business (i.e. economics, finance, accounting), supplemented with a minimum of five (5) years' experience in the planning or scheduling of a manufacturing facility or multiple production lines.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Ability to excel within high-risk fast-paced work environment.
Ability to assess risk and exercise sound judgment in making decisions.
Analytical and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with both internal & external customers.
Proven ability to manage effectively within a team-based environment.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

The pay range for this position is expected to be between:

$70,400.00 - $131,600.00
