Order Support Specialist

Hours:

Monday through Friday: 8am-4:30pm

Essential Skills

Minimum of 2 years' of recent experience in an office-related environment.

High school diploma or higher education achievement.

Proficiency in order entry and order processing.

Strong skills in reporting and administrative support.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Experience in data entry and purchase order management.

Previous experience in manufacturing.

Job Description

We are seeking an Order Support Specialist to join our growing manufacturing company with international reach. This role is integral to our operations, providing essential support in processing orders and ensuring efficient delivery. The position offers professional growth opportunities within a supportive and family-oriented work environment.

Responsibilities

Process all orders and load them into the company software program.

Confirm deliveries based on production workload, consulting the production manager when needed.

Work collaboratively as a team member and assist in the absence of other team members.

Process all claims in the system and forward them to the quality department.

Assist the Key Account Manager with issuing monthly reports and statistics.

Issue and process all paperwork related to shipping, including labels, packing slips, and invoicing.

Schedule pick-ups with truck companies and issue pick orders to the warehouse department to ensure timely shipments.

This is a Permanent position based out of Elk Grove Village, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
