As a Security Officer - Government Patrol Foot in Cedarhurst, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about contributing to a secure and welcoming atmosphere through teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $22.62 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.

Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.

Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site procedures.

Support emergency response activities according to established protocols and training.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
