You will interact with students, staff, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control protocols.

Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment within the educational location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the campus and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues and observe for unusual activity.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and daily operations as required by site procedures.

Communicate clearly and professionally with all individuals on site, including providing directions and assistance as needed.

Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site staff to address security-related concerns and uphold site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

CPR or first aid certification is preferred.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
