As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Specialist in De Leon Springs, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while working in a dynamic environment. Mon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Tue02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Wed02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Thur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

Monitor entry and exit points to help to maintain a secure environment within the location.

Document observations, incidents, and/or activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.

Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services if required during critical situations.

Remain alert and observant throughout the shift to help to identify and report potential threats or hazards within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience is required.

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.

An armed guard card or license is required.

An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
