Entry Level Welders

Job Description

We are seeking entry level welders with experience in Flux core and Stick welding processes. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of prior welding experience through school or on the job experience. The positions have quick turn around time and can start very quickly after testing.

Pay: $21.30hr

Shift: 1st and 2nd shifts available.

Location: Ashland City, TN

Responsibilities

Perform Flux Core and Stick Welding on Mild Steel.

Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals are met.

Work under the supervision of a team leader to ensure quality standards.

Essential Skills

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Experience with welding fabrication.

Knowledge of working with stainless steel, carbon steel, and structural steel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous welding experience of 4-6 months is required.

Ability to pass a weld test (3F) during the interview process.

Any previous welding experience is considered beneficial.

Work Environment

The role is based in an outdoor environment, which can be hot and cold. The position requires adherence to safety protocols, including wearing steel-toed, ankle-high leather boots, no contact lenses due to welding smoke, and long sleeves and pants. The work schedule includes two shifts: 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and 2nd shift from Monday to Friday, 3:15 PM to 12:45 AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ashland City, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.30 - $21.30/hr.
