Job Title: Purchasing AdministratorJob Description

The Purchasing Administrator will support the sales team in efficiently quoting customers, processing customer orders, purchasing parts from suppliers, and providing post-shipment customer service. This role involves handling supplier sourcing, quoting, order entry, reviewing contract requirements, ensuring purchase orders are accurate, fulfilling due dates and quality requirements, and assisting with negotiations.

Responsibilities

Support sales team with customer quotations and order processing.

Source suppliers and handle quoting processes.

Enter orders and review contract requirements for accuracy.

Ensure all purchase orders meet due dates and quality standards.

Assist in negotiations and provide customer service to suppliers.

Essential Skills

Proficient in purchasing, data entry, and sourcing.

Experience with quoting, order entry, MRP, and ERP systems.

Strong understanding of purchase orders and procurement processes.

Self-motivated learner with strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Collaborative mindset and analytical thinking.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Strong typing skills and administrative support experience.

Excellent customer service and inventory management abilities.

Knowledge of supply chain management and purchase order software systems.

Work Environment

This position is onsite with a work schedule of either 7:00am - 3:30pm or 7:30am - 4:00pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chatsworth, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
