As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Rounds in Elkton, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a secure environment. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.

Observe and report any suspicious activities, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.

Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors while on patrol.

Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures.

Document all incidents and relevant activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
