Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Part - Time Accountant to join our team on a part-time contract basis in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. In this role, you will contribute to a variety of accounting and administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of daily financial processes. This position offers a collaborative onboarding experience and is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities:

Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure financial records are up-to-date and error-free.

Handle minor year-end payroll tasks and assist with monthly financial reporting.

Enter and maintain data in ERP software, ensuring consistency and accuracy.

Conduct internal audits to verify compliance and identify discrepancies.

Provide minor support for administrative and back-office duties, including answering inbound calls.

Collaborate with team members to address financial inquiries and resolve issues.

Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to prepare reports and other documentation.

Maintain organized paper records and adhere to traditional bookkeeping practices.

Requirements

Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate financial records.

Familiarity with any ERP software is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of payroll processing and account reconciliation.

Ability to perform internal audits and generate financial reports.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Comfortable working in a non-profit environment with traditional accounting methods.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
