The maximum salary range is reserved for candidates that far exceed the required and preferred qualifications for the role.This is a 10-day posting, which will close on December 9, 2025 at 11:59pm.Position Overview: The Division of District Talent Systems works to support districts with the development of systems for identifying and rewarding great teachers, including work related to the Teacher Incentive Allotment, T-TESS, and other strategic compensation efforts.The Product Manager for the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) program serves as a critical liaison between program stakeholders and technical teams. This role is responsible for analyzing, documenting, and translating business needs into technical solutions that support the successful implementation and ongoing management of the TIA program. The TIA Product Manager ensures that data systems, reporting tools, and digital workflows align with state policy, district requirements, and performance-based funding models.This position reports to the TIA Data Director. Flexible work location within the state of Texas may be considered for qualified candidates. Essential FunctionsJob duties are not limited to the essential functions mentioned below. You may perform other functions as assigned.1. System Design: Collaborate with TIA program stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to teacher designation, funding formulas, and data validation processes through both the TIA Data Portal and future web application developments. Translate these requirements into functional and technical specifications to support the development or enhancement of TIA-related systems, such as designation tracking, allotment calculations, allotment verification, and TIA fees collection.2. Data Integration and Visualization: Coordinate with internal and external data sources (e.g., TEA, Texas Tech University, district systems) to ensure accurate data capture, integration, visualization, and validation for teacher performance, student growth, and designation eligibility. Develop and maintain data quality standards and validation protocols aligned with TIA guidelines to ensure compliance and audit readiness.3. Implementation Support: Lead or support user acceptance testing (UAT) for new or modified TIA system components, ensuring alignment with program rules and district-specific designation systems. Provide implementation support, including troubleshooting, training, and documentation for end users such as district administrators and TEA staff.4. Data Systems Management: Annually process and manage designations and allotments in SCOMS; develop training and resources to ensure accurate reporting and allotment distributions; provide quality customer service to LEAs from the point of system approval to funding. Lead development and rollout of SCOMS enhancements and maintenance.
