This job contributes to Starbucks success by developing, optimizing and executing on our go-to-market process to achieve our goal of customer-centered marketing across all channels. This role is responsible for the day-to-day management and flawless execution of complex creative projects and programs that spans digital and print deliverables; while focusing on automation and creative production including but not limited to processes, tools, systems, etc. This position will also influence individuals and teams to adopt new ways of work that deliver agility, continuous improvement, collaboration and a growth mindset to our creative practice, enabling us to effectively and efficiently scale communications.
As a manager, creative operations ,_ _you will...
· Develop and update integrated plans that include deliverables, strategic alignment, enterprise-wide impacts, milestones, risks, assumptions, constraints and overall investment.
· Ensure creative requirements, audience data, and creative direction are clearly communicated to operations teams, acting as liaison for multiple functional areas.
· Responsible for execution of multiple project deliverables, timelines and identifying risk. Oversee all aspects of approvals and production schedules.
· Use existing marketing & creative technology, tools & processes to execute day to day creative, content & production design projects.
· Test new tool features and capabilities as they become available to identify opportunities to maximize return on existing technology investments.
· Develop and refine creative operations models including processes, tools, systems, etc., to drive improvements to existing end-to-end processes in partnership with leadership and cross-functional partners.
· Collaborate across stakeholder teams to develop and create operational business requirements for the development of new creative processes and tools.
· Lead via influence and by example, build relationships effectively, identify and share best practices, train and mentor team members.
· Have a deep level of knowledge of Marketing, Marketing Technology, Product and Creative functions.
· Have a deep level of knowledge about various aspects of traditional and non-traditional production;?including but not limited to: print, packaging, web, digital, mobile, video and other multi-media.
· Ensure the direction of creative is communicated to production and technical teams, acting as liaison for both functional areas.
· Manage moderately to highly complex creative projects & programs independently or with support of Associate or Specialist.
We'd?love?to hear from people with:
· BA/BS with concentration in business, marketing, technology or similar field required.?
· 5-8 years of Creative Operations Experience
· Compelling presentation skills, persuasive and succinct oral, written, and email skills
· Strong problem solving and analytical skills and an ability to think outside the box to achieve results
· Able to execute best-in-class vendor management processes independently; understands digital production & operations vendors and their capabilities.
· Ability & willingness to adapt new technologies & concepts quickly; interest in technology & digital innovation to solve complex customer and marketer problems.

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
