Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team in Boca Raton, Florida. This role involves managing a high volume of accounts payable and receivable transactions while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in accounting operations and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Process and manage a high volume of accounts payable transactions, including approximately 100 invoices weekly.

Handle accounts receivable processes, including managing up to 3,000 credit card-related transactions monthly.

Perform accurate data entry for financial records and transactions.

Reconcile vendor accounts and general ledger balances to ensure financial accuracy.

Post financial transactions and maintain organized records for auditing purposes.

Collaborate with a small team to support charter, repair, and sales operations.

Utilize QuickBooks Desktop to perform accounting tasks efficiently.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial activities.

Provide reporting and updates to the team lead and management.

Work on-site to maintain effective communication and workflow. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related roles.

Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop is essential.

Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Proven ability to perform accurate numeric data entry.

Experience with vendor and general ledger reconciliations.

High attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of transactions efficiently.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
